West Springfield Softball Comes Back on Taconic

WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- The West Springfield softball team Tuesday scored eight runs in the bottom of the second to erase a 5-0 Taconic lead and went on to a 12-8 win.

 

Jenyka Ostellino went 3-for-4 and scored twice for Taconic, which got two hits apiece from Kiki Carrigan and Aubrey Lazits.

 

Carrigan went the distance in the circle.

 

Taconic (6-13) hosts Wahconah on Wednesday night.
