Ostellino, Schwarz Lead Taconic Softball Past Lenox

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Jenyka Ostellino and Stephanie Schwarz each tripled in a 12-hit attack as the Taconic softball team Thursday defeated Lenox, 10-1.

 

Ostrander went 2-for-3, and Delaney Ivas was 2-for-2 with three runs scored as Taconic (2-6) snapped a six-game losing streak.

 

Mary Lee earned the win in the circle, striking out nine and walking three while scattering three hits.

 

Aimee Green, Morgan Levesque and Maddie Barenski each had a hit for Lenox. Barenski also split time in the circle with Anna Lynch.

 

Lenox (4-4) hosts Wahconah on Saturday.

 

Taconic hosts East Longmeadow on Monday.
