Stodden Homers for Taconic in Win at Wahconah

 

DALTON, Mass. — Ella Stodden went 3-for-5 with a home run and a double Wednesday to lead the Taconic softball team to a 15-6 win over Wahconah.

 

Kylie Duhamel was 3-for-5 with a triple, and Abby Soto doubled in a 15-hit attack for the Thunder.

 

Taconic took control of the game with a seven-run second inning, when Soto doubled to help the Thunder take a 9-2 lead.

 

Cheyann Goddard went the distance in the circle for Taconic (6-12) to earn the win.

 

Elena Iovieno was 2-for-4 with a home run for Wahconah, which got four hits from Mariah Barnes.

 

Marlee Arnhold and Barnes split time in the circle for Wahconah (9-11), which learns on May 29 who it will open play against in the Division 4 State Tournament.
