Taconic Earns Road Win at Athol

ATHOL, Mass. – Izabella Hadsell went 2-for-r with a triple Saturday to lead the Taconic softball team to a 9-5 win over Athol.

 

Ella Stodden also tripled, and Kylie Duhamel hit a double in a 14-hit Taconic attack.

 

All nine starters had at least one hit.

 

Cheyanne Goddard, Maddie Harrington, Jianna Gilmore-Kruger and Abby Bliss had two hits apiece.

 

Goddard went five innings in the circle to earn the win, striking out four and allowing three runs.

 

Taconic (4-6) goes to Mount Greylock on Tuesday.
