Goddard Leads Thunder Past Wahconah

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Cheyanne Goddard went 5-for-5 with a double and a pair of RBIs Tuesday to lead the Taconic softball team to a 15-5 win over Wahconah.

 

Goddard also went the distance in the circle, striking out five and walking one.

 

Izabella Hadsell and Jianna Gilmore-Kruger each went 2-for-3 with a double, and Ella Stodden doubled in a 17-hit attack for the Thunder.

 

Mariah Barnes went 3-for-4 with a double and a pair of RBIs to lead Wahconah (7-5), which goes to Greenfield on Friday.

 

Taconic (3-6) travels to face Frontier on Thursday.
