Greenfield Softball Downs Taconic

GREENFIELD, Mass. – The Greenfield softball team Thursday scored 11 runs in the bottom of the fourth to pull away for an 18-1, five-inning win over Taconic.

 

The Green Wave hit a pair of home runs and held the Thunder to one hit.

 

That one hit was a solo home run by Ella Stodden in the top of the third.

 

Taconic (2-5) is scheduled to host Greenfield on Friday.
