Goewey, Mount Everett Outslug Drury

SHEFFIELD, Mass. -- Emma Goewey went 4-for-5 with three runs batted in on Tuesday to lead the Mount Everett softball team to an 11-7 win over Drury.

 

Julia Devoti was 2-for-4 with three RBIs, and Mariah Broderick struck out three to earn the win in the circle.

 

Brooke Bishop and Mackenzie Dobbert each had three hits for the Blue Devils, who got three RBIs each from Dobbert and Marley Brothers.

 

Olivia Perry struck out seven in a losing effort for Drury.

 

The Blue Devils (5-6) host Monument Mountain on Wednesday.

 

Mount Everett hosts the Spartans on Friday.
