Carpenter, Ullrich Homer in Mount Everett Win

SHEFFIELD, Mass. — Gwendolyn Carpenter and Madison Ullrich each homered Thursday to lead the Mount Everett softball team to a 12-0, six-inning win over Lee.

 

Faith Angell struck out five and scattered four hits to earn the complete-game win in the circle and helped her own cause by going 4-for-5 a the plate.

 

Emma Goewey went 4-for-5 with a double. Ullrich was 3-for-5 with a double to go with her homer and drove in six runs.

 

Ariana Hall, Katelyn Clark, Olivia Keiderling and Autumn Schwab each had a hit for Lenox (1-9), which hosts Pioneer on Friday.

 

Mount Everett (6-3) goes to Housatonic Valley on Friday.
