Mount Everett Softball Team Edges Wahconah

SHEFFIELD, Mass. -- Tori Seward and Sarah Beckwith each singled and scored a run in the fifth inning, and Chandler DeGrenier struck out 10 to lead the Mount Everett softball team to a 2-0 win over Wahconah on Monday.

 

Lauren Edwards had a sacrifice bunt, and Jaclyn Derwitsch had an RBI single in the game-winning rally.

 

Allie Borowsky struck out six in the loss for Wahconah.

 

Wahconah (6-4) goes to Drury on Tuesday.

 

Mount Everett (9-1) hosts Lenox on Tuesday.
