CHICOPEE, Mass. – Aliyah Creamer went 4-for-6 with three doubles and five RBIs Monday to lead the Mount Everett softball team to a 24-10 win over Chicopee Comp.

Chloe Hotaling and Emily Gilmore each had a pair of hits, and Kamari Pridgen and London Krans each doubled in an 11-hit attack for the Eagles.

Hotaling earned the win in the circle, striking out five and allowing one earned run.

Mount Everett (2-2) is at home against Hoosac Valley on Tuesday.

“The hardest part with this whole early season is every time we've had a practice it seems like we get stuck inside with weather so some of those fundamentals you'd like to teach are getting pushed back,” Mount Everett coach Joshua King said. “The girls though are doing a better job of listening and staying the course, which is good. A very tough contest tomorrow with a very well coached team and quality arm in the circle with Hoosac Valley. Hopefully we can rise to the challenge tomorrow and make a game of it.”
