Ludlow Softball Downs Mount Everett
LUDLOW, Mass. – Kylie Roach homered and drove in a pair of runs Friday to lead the Ludlow softball team to an 11-6 win over Mount Everett.
Liv Slatton struck out 11 and allowed five earned runs to earn a complete-game win in the circle.
Makayla Carpenter went 3-for-3 with a triple and a double to lead Mount Everett’s offense.
Stella Lennex and London Krans each had three hits in an 11-hit Eagle attack.
“A good back and forth game today with Ludlow,” Mount Everett coach Joshua King said. “Unfortunately, we had some costly errors toward the end that ultimately ended up costing us the game.
“Kudos to the girls today, though, for coming out with better energy and effort overall after Wednesday’s game and showing improvement all around.”
Chloe Hotaling pitched a complete game for Mount Everett, allowing five earned runs.
Mount Everett (1-2) goes to Chicopee Comprehensive on Monday.
