Tatro Leads McCann Tech Past Hoosac Valley

ADAMS, Mass. – Hannah Tatro struck out six in a complete-game effort in the circle Tuesday to lead the McCann Tech softball team to a 15-6 win over Hoosac Valley.

 

Tatro allowed just three earned runs.

 

She also helped her cause by going 3-for-5 with a double at the plate and driving in a pair of runs.

 

Miranda Ranzoni went 3-for-4. Aiden Champney hit a pair of doubles, and Nora Kondel tripled in a 16-hit Hornet attack.

 

McCann Tech broke the game wide open with a seven-run seventh inning to take a 15-5 lead.

 

Gracelyn Wright went 2-for-3 and stole three bases to lead Hoosac VAlley’s offense. Danielle Glasier had a pair of RBIs.

 

Averie McGovern took the loss in the circle, giving up just two earned runs in six innings of work.

 

Hoosac Valley (4-6) hosts Southwick on Thursday.

 

The Hornets (3-4) host Mount Everett on Wednesday.
