Tetlow Leads McCann Tech Softball to State Voc Final

NORTHAMPTON, Mass. -- Aubrey Tetlow went 4-for-4 with a double, a triple and three RBIs Monday to lead the McCann Tech softball team to a 14-2 win over Smith Vocational in the semi-finals of the State Vocational small school division tournament.

 

Hannah Stack and Nichole Demastrie each doubled in a 12-hit Hornet attack.

 

Megan Goyette struck out eight and allowed just one earned run in a complete game effort in the circle.

 

Fourth-seeded McCann Tech will face either No. 2 Bristol County or No. 3 Norfolk in the state voc finals.

 

The Hornets (16-5) learn Tuesday when and against whom they will open play in the Western Massachusetts tournament.
