McCann Tech Softball Secures Spot in State Voc Tournament

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. — Meg Goyette struck out 11 Wednesday to lead the McCann Tech softball team to a 12-4 win over Putnam Voc as the Hornets qualified for the State Vocational tournament.

 

Sarah Fortini homered, and Aubrey Tetlow and Goyette each hit a triple.

 

Mya Daigneault went 3-for-3 with an RBI and scored twice in a 14-hit McCann Tech attack.

 

The Hornets (14-4) hosts Mohawk Trail on Friday.
