Stack, Fortini Lead McCann Tech Softball Past Hopkins

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Hannah Stack and Sarah Fortini Wednesday combined for six hits to lead the McCann Tech softball team to a 14-7 win over Hopkins Academy.

 

Stack went 3-for-4 with a double, a triple and four RBIs. Fortini was 3-for-4 with two doubles, a triple and a pair of RBIs.

 

Meg Goyette went the distance in the circle, striking out nine.

 

She also helped her cause with a double.

 

Mya Daigneault doubled as well, and Aubrey Tetlow went 2-for-3 as the Hornets remained unbeaten in their league this spring.

 

McCann Tech (8-1) hosts Drury on Friday.
