Goyette Shines in Circle, at Plate as Hornets Stay Unbeaten
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Megan Goyette struck out 11 and scattered two hits over five innings to pitch the McCann Tech softball team to a 13-0 win over Putnam on Tuesday.
Goyette also had a two-run double as the Hornets improved to 5-0 this spring.
Sarah Fortini went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs, and Aubrey Tetlow drove in a pair of runs in the win.
McCann Tech is off until Monday when it hosts Springfield Central.
