Goyette Mows Down Cardinals in McCann Tech Blowout Win

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Meg Goyette struck out nine in a one-hit victory and helped her own cause by driving in five runs in McCann Tech’s 23-0 win over Pope Francis on Friday.

 

The Hornets jumped out to a 12-0 lead in the first inning and never looked back in improving to 2-0 this spring.

 

Goyette went 4-for-5 at the plate.

 

Kalley Vanuni and Ayrian Quinones each went 3-for-3, and Aubrey Tetlow was 2-for-4 with four RBIs.

 

The Hornets host Mohawk Trail on Monday afternoon.
