Easthampton Softball Rallies Past McCann Tech
EASTHAMPTON, Mass. -- The Easthampton softball team came back from a 2-0 deficit in the bottom of the sixth to earn a 3-2 win over McCann Tech on Wednesday.
Easthampton scored two in the sixth and got a walkoff hit in the seventh to hand the Hornets (9-6) their first loss in five days and avenge a 6-1 loss in North Adams last week.
Amanda Rancourt and Michaela Malloy each had a hit for McCann Tech, which got six strikeouts in a complete game loss for Megan Goyette in the circle.
McCann Tech hosts Sabis on Friday.
