Freshmen Come Up Big as McCann Softball Bounces Back

WARE, Mass. -- Freshman Hailey Miller went 3-for-4 Wednesday to lead the McCann Tech softball team to a 9-3 win over Ware.

 

The Hornets (6-5) bounced back from Tuesday’s one-run loss at Smith Academy and won their third game in four outings.

 

Another freshman, Mya Daigneault drove in a pair of runs, and Alanza Quinones and Michaela Malloy each had two hits.

 

Megan Goyette struck out eight and scattered five hits to earn the win in the circle.

 

McCann Tech is home on Thursday against Easthampton.
