Quinones Homers in McCann Tech Softball's Loss

PALMER, Mass. -- Alanza Quinones went 2-for-4 with a home run, a double and three runs batted in, but the McCann Tech softball team could not match the offensive punch of Palmer ina  12-4 loss on Monday.

 

“We came across a great hitting Palmer team, and our defense was mediocre,” McCann coach Robin Finnegan said. “We need to rebound [Tuesday] against Granby.”

 

Megan Goyette singled and walked on offense and went the distance in the circle, giving up 11 hits.

 

The Hornets (3-4) host Granby on Tuesday.
