Lord Homers as Hoosac Valley Outslugs McCann Tech

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – The Hoosac Valley softball team Tuesday jumped out to a big lead early and went on to a 15-13 win over McCann Tech.

 

The Hurricanes scored eight runs in the first two innings to take control of the game.

 

Izabella Tart went 3-for-3 with a pair of RBIs for Hoosac Valley, which got a home run from Hannah Lord.

 

Miranda Ranzoni went 2-for-4 with a pair of RBIs for the Hornets, who also got two hits apiece from Emily Raschdorf and Shaley Lawson.

 

McCann Tech (2-2) hosts Chicopee on Thursday.

 

Hoosac Valley (4-1) hosts Ludlow on Thursday.
