Mohawk Trail Softball Outslugs Drury

BUCKLAND, Mass. — Mohawk Trail scored nine runs in the bottom of the second to take a 12-3 and held off Drury's comeback bid to earn a 19-16 win on Tuesday.

 

Katie Booth went 2-for-4 with a double and three RBIs, and Madilynn Brothers was 2-for-3 with an RBI and a pair of runs scored for the Blue Devils, who pounded out 18 hits but were hampered by seven errors.

 

Abby Lear and Booth combined to allow 13 earned runs in the loss.

 

Drury (1-3) hosts Mount Everett on Thursday.
