Drury Softball Falls in Round of 16

BALDWINVILLE, Mass. – Amanda Iannacone went 2-for-3 with a double, and Mia Manca struck out six Wednesday to lead the Narragansett Regional softball team to a 10-5 win over Drury in the Division 5 State Tournament Round of 16.
 
Marley Brothers was 2-for-3 with a double for the Blue Devils, who also got two hits apiece from Arianna Rivard and Brooke Bishop.
 
Olivia Perry went the distance in the circle for Drury, striking out seven and allowing seven earned runs.
 
Seventh-seeded Narragansett (11-7) moves on to face No. 2 Turners Falls on Saturday in the D5 quarter-finals. Turners (18-5) beat Norfolk Aggie, 21-14, in the Sweet 16.
 
Drury finishes the season with a record of 13-7.
