Drury Puts Away Chicopee in Five Innings

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – Brooke Bishop went 3-for-3 with three doubles Tuesday to lead the Drury softball team to a 20-8, five-inning win over Chicopee.

 

Norah Wood and Abby Bailey each had a pair of hits for the Blue Devils, who scored nine times in the bottom of the fifth to end the game by the mercy rule.

 

Bailey led the team with four RBIs.

 

Olivia Perry and Michelle Wood split time in the circle.

 

Drury (11-5) takes a seven-game winning streak into Thursday’s regular season finale at Mount Everett.
