Lee's Lynch Ks 14 in Five-Inning Win

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Taryn Bannon went 4-for-5 with a double, and Julianna Schuerer homered Monday to lead the Lee softball team to an 18-0 rout of Putnam Vocational.

 

Bri Lynch struck out 14 of the 16 hitters she faced and allowed just one hit to earn the complete-game, five-inning shutout in the circle.

 

Lily Brancato went 2-for-4 with a double and a pair of RBIs, and Lynch doubled and drove in three runs to help her own cause.

 

Lee (7-5) goes to Westfield Tech on Wednesday.
