Mayberry Homers for Lee in Win over St. Mary's

WESTFIELD, Mass. – Addie Mayberry went 2-for-4 with a home run Friday to lead the Lee softball team to a 15-3 win over St. Mary’s.

 

Bri Lynch went 2-for-3 and drove in five runs. Julianna Schuerer was 2-for-4 with four RBIs for the Wildcats, who scored six runs in the top of the fourth and ended the game after five via the mercy rule.

 

Lynch earned the win in the circle, striking out nine and scattering eight hits while allowing two earned runs.

 

Lee (6-5) takes a five-game winning streak into Monday’s game at Putnam Voc.
