Bannon Pitches Wildcats Past Putnam Voc

LEE, Mass. – Taryn Bannon struck out 16 on Monday to lead the Lee softball team to an 11-0 win over Putnam Vocational.

 

Bri Lynch led a 10-hit Wildcat attack, going 2-for-4 with a triple and a double.

 

Lily Brancato doubled and drove in a pair of runs.

 

Bannon helped her cause by going 2-for-3 and driving in a pair of runs, and MaKayla Schuerer was 2-for-3 and scored twice.

 

Lee (5-5) goes to St. Mary’s on Friday.
