Lee's Lynch K's 20 in Loss

LEE, Mass. – Bri Lynch struck out 20, but the Lee softball team Tuesday dropped a 7-2 decision to Westfield Tech.

 

Lynch also went 2-for-3 with a double at the plate and scored one of the Wildcats’ runs.

 

All but one Westfield Tech player struck out at least once. Alyssa Slack was the exception, going 3-for-3 with a triple and scoring three times to help her cause. She also struck out 14 in the circle to earn the win.

 

The lone Westfield Tech out recorded in the field was a groundout to Lee’s Addie Mayberry at third base in the fifth inning.

 

Lynch struck out the side in order in the second.

 

Lee (1-3) goes to Monument Mountain on Thursday.
