Lee Wins Behind Hopkins at Plate

LEE, Mass. – Karalynn Hopkins went 4-for-4 with a home run and a triple Monday to lead the Lee softball team to a 9-4 win over gateway.

 

Lily Brancato and Bri Lynch each went 2-for-4 with a double.

 

The Wildcats also got doubles from Addie Mayberrie, Brooke Delaguistina and Taryn Bannon. Julianna Schuerer batted 2-for-2 and scored three runs in the leadoff spot.

 

Bannon and Lynch split time in the circle. Lynch struck out eight, walked none and allowed one hit in four innings of work.

 

Lee (1-1) goes to Putnam Voc on Wednesday.
