Hopkins Homer Highlights Wildcats' Win

LEE, Mass. – Karalynn Hopkins went 2-for-3 with a home run, and Lily Brancato hit a pair of triples Monday as the Lee softball team downed Putnam Vocational, 16-2.

 

Brancato drove in four runs and Hopkins drove in three in a 16-hit Lee attack.

 

Autumn Scwhwab went 3-for-3 with a double.

 

Kayla Clark earned the win in the circle, striking out eight in four innings. She also helped her own cause with a single and an RBI. Taryn Bannon threw a hitless fifth to close out the five-inning win.

 

Lee (8-3) goes to Mount Greylock on Thursday.
