Pause Powers Hoosac Softball to Win

LEE, Mass. -- Alyssa Pause went 3-for-4 with a triple to lead the Hoosac Valley softball team to an 8-6 win over Lee on Friday afternoon.

 

Kali Puppolo went 2-for-4 with an RBI and struck out four while splitting time in the circle with Megan Goyette.

 

Lee (5-3) pounded out 10 hits, led by Nikki Laudon, who went 2-for-3 with a triple and two RBIs.

 

Kendra Williams struck out six in a complete-game effort for the Wildcats, who host Wahconah on Monday.

 

Hoosac Valley (4-4) hosts Mount Greylock on Tuesday.
