Lee Blanks Amherst to Improve to 3-0

LEE, Mass. – Taryn Bannon drove in three runs Wednesday to lead the Lee softball team to a 4-0 win over Amherst-Pelham.

 

Bannon went 1-for-3 in a four-hit attack for the Wildcats, who also got a single and an RBI from Karalynn Hopkins.

 

Bri Lynch struck out 15, walked none and allowed just two hits to maintain her 0.00 earned run average through three games.

 

She got all the offense she needed in the fourth, when Bannon lined a single to right field to bring home Lynch and Hopkins.

 

Lee (3-0) goes to St. Mary’s of Westfield on Friday.
