Curry, Murray Lead Pittsfield Girls Lacrosse to Win in Opener

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Sara Curry and Sierra Murray each scored five goals Friday to lead the Pittsfield girls lacrosse team to an 18-3 win over Springfield Central.

 

Ella Korte scored four times, and Natalia Agrelo scored a pair of goals.

 

Danielle Plankey stopped six shots to earn the win in goal before getting relief from Madison Manning.

 

Pittsfield (1-0) goes to St. Mary’s of Westfield on Wednesday.
