Chicopee Girls Lacrosse Edges Pittsfield

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Gabby Hicks and Minnie Voges each scored twice Monday to lead the Chicopee girls lacrosse team to a 6-5 win over Pittsfield at Herberg Middle School.

 

“This was a great game,” Pittsfield coach Jenna Giardina said. “Both teams played very hard, and Chicopee’s goalie was unbelievable.”

 

The Pacers’ keeper was credited with 16 saves.

 

Summer Jadallah scored three goal, and Gabby Harding and Rachel Tynan each scored a goal for the Generals, who got 10 saves from Anna Quinto.

 

Pittsfield (0-7) goes to Mount Greylock on Tuesday.
