Mountie Hits Milestone in State Tourney Loss

WESTON, Mass. -- Mount Greylock senior Gianna Pesce Monday recorded her 100th career point in the girls lacrosse team's 18-3 loss to Weston in the Division 4 State Tournament.

 

Pesce, Phoebe Hughes and Molly Cangelosi each scored a goal for the 16th-seeded Mounties.

 

No. 1 Weston (16-4) advanced to Saturday's quarter-final matchup against No. 9 Hamilton-Wenham (12-6).

 

Mount Greylock finishes the season with a record of 10-10.
