Jones' 10-Goal Day Lifts Mount Greylock Past Chicopee Comp

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Carolyn Jones scored 10 goals Tuesday to lead the Mount Greylock girls lacrosse team to a 17-11 win over Chicopee Comp.

 

Clare Sheedy had a hat trick and set up four other goals, and Brook Masse scored twice for the Mounties.

 

Autumn Delorey stopped nine shots to earn the win in goal.

 

Mount Greylock (8-10) has qualified for the Central/Western Massachusetts tournament by finishing second the Berkshire County League and will learn on Friday when and against whom it will open post-season play.
