Polumbo Scores Seven as Mount Greylock Tops Mount Anthony

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Emma Polumbo scored seven goals Monday to lead the Mount Greylock girls lacrosse team to a 15-13 win over Mount Anthony.

 

“Great win tonight for Mount Greylock,” Mounties coach Lindsey von Holtz said. “The team worked well together in all three aspects of the game.

 

“The offense was able to move the ball and spot open players well. The defense collapsed and communicated well and the entire team worked hard on both transitions.”

 

Caroline Flynn had a hat trick, and Clare Sheedy scored twice to go with four assists.

 

Autumn Delorey stopped three shots to earn the win in goal.

 

Mount Greylock (11-4) hosts Pittsfield on Wednesday.
