Sheedy Leads Mount Greylock Girls Past East Longmeadow

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Clare Sheedy scored six goals and set up another on Saturday night to lead the Mount Greylock girls lacrosse team to a 13-11 win over East Longmeadow.

 

Emma Polumbo had a hat trick and set up a pair of goals, and Autumn Delorey stopped nine shots to earn the win in goal.

 

“Gabby Orpin played incredibly well defensively for the Mounties, and Autumn Delorey had another great game in net,” Mount Greylock coach Lindsey von Holtz said.

 

“The girls played hard and worked together really well from endline to endline.”

 

Mount Greylock (8-4) hosts Granby on Wednesday.
