Flynn Scores Seven in Mount Greylock Girls Lax Win

CHESHIRE, Mass. -- Caroline Flynn scored seven goals Thursday to lead the Mount Greylock girls lacrosse team to a 20-8 win over Hoosac Valley.

 

Emma Polumbo scored four goals and set up three more, and Clare Sheedy had a hat trick for the Mounties, who got 13 saves from Autumn Delorey.

 

Alie Mendel and Aubrey Rumbolt each had a hat trick for Hoosac Valley, which got a goal apiece from Claudia Bressett and Brooke DiGennaro.

 

Hoosac Valley (5-5) goes to St. Mary’s on Monday.

 

Mount Greylock (9-4) goes to Bennington, Vt., to play Mount Anthony Union on Monday.
