Mount Greylock Girls Lax Falls to Mount Anthony

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- The defending Vermont state champion Mount Anthony girls lacrosse team Saturday jumped out to a seven-goal lead at half-time and held on for a 19-8 win over Mount Greylock.

 

Carolyn Jones and Sarah Stripp each scored three goals for the Mounties, who got a goal and two assists from Emma Polumbo.

 

Autumn Delorey and Hannah Byrnes combined for seven saves in Mount Greylock's goal.

 

The Mounties (5-2) host Wahconah on Monday evening.
