Stripp Scores Six to Lead Mounties in Opener

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Sarah Stripp scored six goals and assisted on two more Monday to lead the Mount Greylock girls lacrosse team to a 17-4 win over Pittsfield in the season-opener for both teams.

 

Emma Polumbo had a hat trick, and Clare Sheedy scored twice for Mount Greylock, which got five saves from Autumn Delorey.

 

Sierra Murray scored two goals, and Jenna Bateman and Anna Quinto each scored once for Pittsfield, which goes to St. Mary’s on Wednesday.

 

Mount Greylock is home against Lee on Wednesday.
