Amherst Girls Lacrosse Tops Wahconah

AMHERST, Mass. – The Amherst-Pelham girls lacrosse team Tuesday defeated Wahconah, 15-4.

 

Olivia Roberts and Danielle Hagmaier each scored a pair of goals for Wahconan, which got a combined 10 saves from goalies Phalyn Renderer and Mya Lee.

 

“We started off slow and we were not taking care of the ball,” Wahconah coach Kathy Budaj said. “Each quarter we worked on fixing the little things and am pleased at how hard the girls worked.”

 

Wahconah (0-2) goes to West Springfield on Monday.
