Wahconah Plays 'Complete Game' to Top Orioles

DALTON, Mass. – Ava Massaro recorded a hat trick Thursday to lead the Wahconah girls lacrosse team to an 8-3 win over Belchertown.

 

Anna Doyle and Olivia Roberts scored two goals apiece, and Paige Trager scored once in the win.

 

Phalyn Renderer stopped seven shots to earn the victory in goal.

 

“It was nice to see them all contribute to the success they had tonight,” Wahconah coach Kathy Budaj said. “We played a complete game today and did not have any letdowns.”

 

Wahconah (4-5) hosts South Hadley on Tuesday.
