Granby Girls Lax Tops Wahconah

GRANBY, Mass. –  Ella Laliberte Monday scored seven goals to lead the Granby girls lacrosse team to a 15-9 win over Wahconah.

 

Ava Massaro scored four goals and assisted on two others for Wahconah, which got two goals apiece from Paige Trager and Chloe DiFazo.

 

“Tough one today for sure,” Wahconah coach Kathy Budaj said. “We are continuing to struggle with winning the draw which makes it hard to have possession.”

 

Phalyn Renderer stopped 11 shots in the loss.

 

Wahconah (3-5) hosts Belchertown on Thursday.
