Wahconah Plays 'All Around' Game in Win over Chicopee Comp

CHICOPEE, Mass. – Three different Wahconah players each had a hat trick Monday in an 11-6 win over Chicopee Comp.

 

Ava Massaro, Olivia Roberts and Anna Doyle scored three goals apiece, and Norah Esko and Danielle Hagmaier each scored a goal as Wahconah evened its record at 3-3 this spring.

 

“Today the girls did a great job all around,” Wahconah coach Kathy Budaj said. “They had some key caused turnovers that turned into goals. It was nice to see everyone working together on the transitions.”

 

Phalyn Renderer stopped six shots to earn the win in goal.

 

Wahconah Wednesday goes to South Hadley.
