Wahconah Girls Knock Off Lee

LEE, Mass. -- Emmy Cote scored five goals and set up three more Tuesday to lead the Wahconah girls lacrosse team to a 15-10 win over Lee.

 

McKenna McIlquham scored four times, and Jordan Budaj had a hat trick for Wahconah (16-4), which got 11 saves from Katie Bachli.

 

Bridey Nicotra and Taryn Paul combined to stop 11 shots for Lee (7-8).

 

The Wildcats got five goals from Emma Bartini and two apiece from Mikayla DeSantis and Meryl Phair.

 

Lee goes to Chicopee Comp on Wednesday.

 

Wahconah will learn Friday who its first opponent will be in the Western Massachusetts tournament.
