Genaway Leads Wahconah Lacrosse Team Past Pittsfield

DALTON, Mass. -- The Wahconah girls lacrosse team defeated Pittsfield Friday afternoon, 15-4.

 

Wahconah was led by Perin Genaway, who had a team high of four goals. She also earned one assist.

 

Shea Hassett had two goals for Pittsfield.

 

Wahconah goalie Haley Milne had eight saves for her team.

 

"The girls executed nice passing, which led to many assisted goals," Wahconah coach Kathy Budaj said. "It was nice to see their patience on offense."

 

Wahconah (3-1) hosts Holyoke Catholic on Saturday.

 

Pittsfield (0-3) hosts Chicopee Comp on Wednesday.
