Hoosac Valley Downs McCann Tech

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – Emma Meczywor scored four goals and assisted on two more Monday to lead the Hoosac Valley girls lacrosse team to a 15-8 win over McCann Tech.

 

Jacinta Felix had a hat trick, and Reagan Shea each scored a pair for the Hurricanes, who got four saves from Kennedy Whitely in the win.

 

“Our younger players got a lot of time today, and we had some new scorers to add in the mix,” Hoosac Valley coach Molly West said. “Maryn Cappiello was our standout player today, earning draws and controlling ground play.”

 

For the Hornets, Gabrielle Wells-Vidal had a hat trick.

 

McCann Tech (0-4) goes to Chicopee Comp on Thursday.

 

Hoosac Valley (4-1) is at Pittsfield on Wednesday.
