Felix, Davis Lead Hurricanes in Road Win

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Jacinta Felix scored six goals, and Lauren Davis scored five on Friday to lead the Hoosac Valley girls lacrosse team to a 14-4 win over Springfield Central.

 

“We were able to move the ball and cut effectively to score,” Hurricanes coach Molly West said. “Jacinta Felix really stepped up offensively and was extremely hard to cover.

 

“In transition, Reagan Shea helped to move the ball and find open players. Her improvement is considerably helping our team grow.”

 

Shea and Ashlyn Lesure each had a goal and an assist. Emma Meczywor scored a goal and set up three. 

 

Kennedy Whitley earned the win in goal with four saves.

 

Hoosac Valley (3-1) goes to McCann Tech on Monday.
