Felix, Davis Lead Hoosac Valley Girls Past Central

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- Jacinta Felix and Lauren Davis scored five goals apiece Monday to lead the Hoosac Valley girls lacrosse team to a 19-4 win over Springfield Central.

 

Emma Meczywor scored four times, and Ashlyn Leasure had a hat trick in the win.

 

"We moved the ball beautifully today with lots of off ball runs," Hoosac Valley coach Molly Meczywor said. "Kennedy Whitely, in goal, continues to improve. Defensive communication was outstanding."

 

Whitely made five saves to earn the win between the pipes.

 

The Hurricanes (9-1) go to Lee on Tuesday.
